At this peaceful and respectful memorial service we pause to remember and commemorate the fallen citizens of Hull during World War II including our civilian children and adults.
Join us as we remember the civilians that lost their lives, hear words from those that were there and lay wreaths in tribute.
82 major air raids took place between 1939 and 1945 causing the deaths of over 1200 people. The service also pays tribute to the emergency services' personnel that also lost their lives.
This event is open to all and will include free refreshments.
The service takes place at the Civilian Memorial Cenotaph within the city's Northern Cemetery, starting at 2pm.
