Burials

There are new, unreserved adult burial plots available at Priory Woods Cemetery and Eastern Cemetery. You will need an Exclusive right of burial for this (please see section 5.1 on the Rules and Regulations page for details).

You may wish for your loved one to be placed within an existing grave so that they are laid to rest with another member of the family. You will need to produce the deed of grant for this. If the deedholder has passed away, you may require a deed transfer, a member of our team can assist you with this.

Baby and child plots (up to age 2) are available at Priory Woods Cemetery, Northern Cemetery and Eastern Cemetery.

There is a dedicated natural burial area at Priory Woods Cemetery. Also known as eco or green burials, they aid the conservation of natural resources and have minimal impact on the environment.

*Exclusive rights of burial for children aged 1 to 18 years is for 30 years.

**An application will be made on behalf of the family to the Children’s Funeral Fund. No payment will be due from families.
